Freemasons’ COVID-19 Community Fund

In response to the coronavirus pandemic, the United Grand Lodge of England and the Masonic Charitable Foundation have established the Freemasons’ COVID-19 Community Fund to raise funds in support of charities and projects that are helping people through these challenging times.

The MCF will match all donations up to £1 million.

In addition to donations from individuals, we are asking members to support this fund with charity collections through any virtual pub nights, quizzes or Lodge of Instructions they may be attending.

All monies raised through the Freemasons’ COVID-19 Community Fund, will be distributed to a registered charity or any other COVID-19 related activity as agreed by the COVID-19 Regional Communications Group. For more details about this group, please visit:

Donation forms can be downloaded from the bottom of this page.

Thank you for your support.

Masonic Charitable Foundation

The Masonic Charitable Foundation builds better lives by enabling opportunity, advancing healthcare and promoting independence for Freemasons, their families and the wider community.

The Foundation awards grants to other charities, medical research studies and disaster relief appeals.

The Foundation will takes over the charitable work of the four central Masonic Charities and is one of largest grant making charities in the country.

Funded entirely through donations from the Masonic community, the Foundation relies on the generosity of Freemasons and their families to fund its work.

The Foundation provides the full range of support currently available to Freemasons and their families who have a financial, health or family need. It will looks beyond Freemasonry, making significant grants to other charities, improving countless lives across the country and overseas.

Please consider making a donation to your new Masonic charity.

For Freemasons, for families, for everyone.
