Run to Madagascar

Thank you for supporting us, your fundraising efforts will make a real difference. To make fundraising for us even easier, we've partnered with Everyday Hero to give you the ability to create your own online fundraising page. In just minutes you can build and customise your page, then start sharing the link with your friends, family and colleagues and asking them to make a donation. Every donation is then recorded on your fundraising page along with a message of support from your donors. So what are you waiting for? Create your own online fundraising page today!

Running

Running for Team MfM whether as an individual or part of the team Challenge.  The team challenge for 2020 is for all our registered runners to submit their training and race miles to MfM in an attempt to run a combined total of the distance to Madagascar and at the same time raise sponsorship for MfM.  MfM will publish a leaderboard on the website for the top individuals who have submitted the most distance and the top fundraisers.  All you have to do is register your miles with MfM through running apps such as ‘Strava’ or ‘Runkeeper’.  It is only 5580 miles from Lancaster to Antananarivo so lets start clocking up those miles in 2020.

Alternatively MfM is always on the lookout for runners who want to raise sponsorship from their running events on behalf of the charity.  MfM supports many programmes in Madagascar involving; Protecting Vulnerable and Enabling Children, Reforestation & Livelihoods and Education for Life.  Our runners raise lots of funds to help with this work and we are grateful for their support.

Anyone raising funds on MfM behalf will be supported by our team and receive a running vest advertising the charity.  We can also help with sponsorship forms, social media advertising and dedicated webpage for your event(s).  We can also help with setting up sponsor pages and collecting sponsorship through Everydayhero or Just Giving.  Please contact us for any additional help with you fundraising and keep us informed so that we can help advertise.
